About us

Satispay began by rethinking the simple act of a payment to remove the friction from our daily routines. But we didn’t stop there. Today, we are building a complete financial platform designed to empower people and concretely improve their lives.

By giving our 6 million users a clear, open path to pay, save, and invest, we are evolving into the definitive destination for every financial need. Joining our team means stepping into a critical role with the authority and responsibility to drive significant business outcomes and shape the strategic trajectory of the company and the industry.

We are powered by a culture of ownership, relentless execution, and strategic foresight. We are brave in our approach, making courageous decisions and tackling challenges head-on, underpinned by a deep sense of responsibility for sustainable, ethical, and long-term success.

What you'll be doing

As Group CFO, you will serve as the primary financial strategist and a key partner to the CEO, shaping Satispay’s international financial roadmap from our Milan headquarters.
Your mandate includes overseeing the Group’s financial strategy, capital allocation and consolidated finance activities, supporting the company’s growth and future capital markets objectives.
You will lead and scale a best-in-class Group Finance organization, spanning FP&A, Financial Control, Group Reporting, Investor Relations, and Finance Business Partnering capabilities, while ensuring consistent financial governance and alignment across all entities, including our regulated financial activities in Luxembourg.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Executive Financial Strategy: Act as a primary member of the Executive Team, influencing corporate development, monetization plans, and the overarching business model.
Define and execute the Group’s long-term financial strategy, including capital allocation priorities, profitability frameworks, and value creation initiatives across business lines and geographies.

  • Corporate Finance & Capital Management: Lead all corporate finance activities including equity fundraising, debt structuring, investor relations, M&A execution, financial due diligence, and valuation processes. Act as a key interface with the Board, shareholders, and institutional investors, supporting IPO preparation or capital markets readiness initiatives.

  • Financial Reporting & Governance: Oversee Group financial reporting, including consolidated accounts, statutory reporting, and financial governance across all entities. Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data, supporting both internal decision-making and external reporting requirements.

  • FP&A & Growth Performance: Lead Group FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across all business units. Develop forward-looking financial models to support strategic decision-making, scenario planning, and resource allocation across the company.

  • Group Finance Organization: Ensure strong alignment between strategic planning, operational execution, and financial performance management across all entities.

  • Entity Governance: Oversee the Luxembourg banking subsidiary, ensuring effective financial governance and alignment with Group standards. Work closely with the Bank CFO and local leadership on regulatory reporting, treasury management, and financial control activities.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a proven leader with a distinguished track record of success in driving strategic initiatives and achieving significant business growth within relevant sectors.
You will lead by example, combining ambition with purpose, drive impactful results and cultivate ownership and continuous improvement in our dynamic environment.

  • Executive Experience: A minimum of 8 years in progressive financial leadership roles, including at least 3 years acting as a Group CFO, VP of Finance, or Deputy CFO within a premier technology scale-up, neo-bank, payments company, or fast-paced fintech environment.

  • Capital Markets Expertise: A demonstrated history of engaging with institutional investors, steering Series funding initiatives, or managing transitions within IPO/SPAC frameworks.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience operating in or alongside regulated financial environments (banking, payments, fintech, or e-money institutions), with strong understanding of governance and compliance frameworks.

  • Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. Executive-level qualifications (CPA, CFA or equivalent) are highly desirable.

  • Language skills: Full professional proficiency in English; Italian is a plus

We recognise that exceptional leadership comes in many forms. If you believe you have the vision, experience, and drive to help us shape the future of money, we encourage you to apply. We value the unique perspectives and strengths that exceptional leaders bring, even if their experience doesn't align with every listed requirement.
