💼The opportunity
We are looking to recruit a talented Delivery Lead to join our team.
RAL: €62K-€78K and €4K retention pack
Responsibilities
Lead complex data/AI projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with company standards;
Actively contribute to delivery when needed (including hands-on coding) to help the team meet deadlines and objectives;
Collaborate with clients to deeply understand functional and technical needs, translating them into roadmaps and actionable solutions;
Develop strong, persuasive technical and commercial proposals;
Monitor project progress to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and budget compliance;
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage risks, priorities, requirements, and deviations;
Plan and coordinate activities across multiple teams, managing capacity, workloads, dependencies, and resources;
Lead teams of up to 25 people, balancing technical guidance, individual growth, and team performance;
Identify and address both technical and non-technical issues decisively, proposing sustainable solutions;
Spot and nurture emerging leaders within teams, supporting their professional development;
Help foster and maintain a healthy, transparent, and results-oriented work environment.
Requirements
Do not apply if
you miss a deep understanding and broad experience of scalable distributed analytical, or machine/deep learning, or agentic/AI systems/platforms.
you are not familiar with system design and architecture
you are not autonomous to delivery a technical offer in at least one of the above mentioned areas
Apply if you match the following requirements:
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
6+ years of experience in development roles and at least 2 years in leadership positions on critical and complex AI/data projects (data platforms, massive data analytics, streaming analytics, ML and AI initiatives);
Experience as a distributed data/AI systems/platform architect, with the ability to design scalable, evolutionary, and maintainable systems;
Strong understanding of traditional and AI-assisted software development lifecycle (SDLC), with the ability to ensure quality and stability;
Experience drafting and negotiating technical and commercial proposals;
Excellent multi-team planning and management skills (capacity management, optimising utilisation, deadlines, task assignment, margin protection);
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle critical conversations and negotiate with clients, vendors and stakeholders;
Strategic vision and deep knowledge of the business domain;
Action-oriented and strong problem-solving mindset;
Experience in mentoring, coaching, and supporting the professional growth of team members;
Familiarity with cloud-native and data/AI modern technologies and frameworks
