Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust Shopify Plus stores and custom Shopify applications
- Develop custom Shopify themes and apps using Liquid, JavaScript, and React
- Implement Hydrogen & Remix headless commerce solutions
- Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO for Shopify stores
- Integrate third-party services and APIs with Shopify
- Engage in all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial requirements to final delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and quality
Impact:
- Lead initiatives that elevate our Shopify solutions, ensuring our clients stay ahead in their industries
- Run internal workshops and presentations on Shopify development best practices
- Contribute to Shopify's ecosystem through app development and open-source contributions
- Shape the technical direction of our Shopify service offerings
Profilo ricercato
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 3+ years of experience developing on the Shopify platform
- Is proficient with Liquid templating and Shopify Theme development
- Is skilled in JavaScript, React, and modern front-end technologies
- Understands eCommerce fundamentals and best practices
- Communicates effectively with both teammates and clients
- Is inclusive, community-driven, and eager to learn and share knowledge
Bonus skills:
- Is proficient with Shopify Plus, and the Shopify API
- Has hands-on experience with Shopify app development (both public and private apps)
- Has experience with Shopify's Hydrogen framework and headless commerce approaches
- Experience with Shopify CLI and Theme Kit
- Familiarity with GraphQL and Shopify's Admin API
- Knowledge of Ruby on Rails (useful for custom Shopify app development)
- Experience with Shopify's checkout extensions and customizations
- Past consulting or client management experience
